Congratulations Luke: Phase 1 Complete and First Payout Requested

Luke has successfully completed Phase 1 at 18th Street Trading and requested his first $500 payout, marking the first step in his progression toward Phase 2 and beyond.

Every payout represents more than a number.

It represents a trader who followed the rules, managed risk, stayed disciplined, and met the standard required to move forward.

Today, we’re proud to congratulate Luke on successfully completing Phase 1 at 18th Street Trading and requesting his first payout.

Luke completed Phase 1 on the $25,000 Funded Futures plan and has now submitted a request for the associated $500 payout, paid via Rise and processed within 24 hours.

That makes this more than a successful trading milestone.

It is the first step in the progression.

Phase 1 Complete

Every trader at 18th Street Trading begins at the same place:

Phase 1 — Trader Candidate.

The objective is not simply to reach a profit target.

The trader must satisfy the complete published standard while remaining within the account’s risk parameters.

That means demonstrating performance while respecting the 5% end-of-day trailing maximum loss and the consistency requirement.

The trader has to build a record rather than rely on a single result.

Luke has now completed that first step.

His account reflects successful Phase 1 performance on the $25,000 plan and a first payout request of $500.

That payout is not the end of the process.

It is evidence that the process is working exactly as designed.

Performance Should Lead to Something

One of the principles behind 18th Street Trading is that traders should not have to complete the entire qualification process before performance is recognized.

Each successfully completed phase carries its own fixed payout.

Complete the phase.

Request the payout.

Then progress.

That relationship is central to the 18th Street model:

Performance → Payout → Progression → Live Capital.

Luke has now completed the first part of that sequence.

He has demonstrated the Phase 1 standard.

He has requested the Phase 1 payout.

And once that process is completed, the next objective becomes Phase 2.

The $25K Progression

Luke began with the $25,000 Funded Futures plan.

On that plan, the progression includes four simulated phases before the trader becomes eligible to move toward Live capital.

Phase 1 — Trader Candidate

Phase 2 — Qualified Trader

Phase 3 — Professional Trader

Phase 4 — Institutional Trader

Each phase requires the trader to meet the same underlying standard.

The account begins fresh.

The process begins again.

And progression must be earned again.

That is intentional.

One successful phase can be a strong result.

Two begin to form a record.

Three strengthen that record.

Four demonstrate repeated performance across the full qualification process.

The First Payout Matters

A first payout is always meaningful.

It turns the qualification process from something theoretical into something tangible.

The trader has completed a defined objective and reached a milestone recognized by the firm.

For Luke, that means a $500 Phase 1 payout request.

More importantly, it means the first level of progression has been earned.

There is still work ahead.

Phase 2 requires the same discipline.

The same risk awareness.

The same attention to consistency.

The standard does not become easier simply because the first phase was successful.

That is one of the defining principles of 18th Street Trading:

Payouts increase.

Responsibility increases.

The standard never does.

Risk Management Before Profitability

The easiest mistake after completing a successful phase is to assume the next one should happen faster.

That is where discipline matters.

A trader who begins Phase 2 with the mindset of accelerating the process can quickly abandon the very habits that led to success in Phase 1.

The objective should remain the same.

Trade the process.

Keep risk controlled.

Respect position size.

Do not force trades.

And do not let the previous result influence the next decision.

Professional trading is built through repetition.

That is what the 18th Street progression is designed to measure.

One Phase at a Time

The long-term objective is Live capital.

But the professional approach is not to trade Phase 2 while thinking about Phase 4.

It is to trade the market in front of you.

One trade.

One session.

One phase.

Luke has completed Phase 1.

The next responsibility is to approach Phase 2 with the same discipline that produced the first result.

No shortcuts.

No purchased advancement.

No change in the standard.

The progression continues only when the trader earns it.

Real Traders. Real Progression.

Payout milestones are an important part of the 18th Street story because they show the progression model operating in practice.

The firm can publish its structure.

It can explain the philosophy.

It can outline every payout level.

But ultimately, traders want to see real people moving through the process.

Luke’s Phase 1 completion is one of those moments.

A trader entered the program.

The trader met the standard.

The trader completed the phase.

And the trader has now requested the payout associated with that achievement.

That is exactly what the progression model was built to do.

Congratulations, Luke

Luke, congratulations on completing Phase 1 and requesting your first payout.

This is an important milestone, but it is also just the beginning.

Phase 2 is next.

The standard remains the same.

And the opportunity continues to grow as the record develops.

We look forward to following your progress.

Trade the process.

Respect the risk.

Keep building the record.

Institutional Standard. Professional Traders.
