Futures trading involves substantial risk and can result in significant losses. It is not appropriate for everyone. Only risk capital should be used — money you can afford to lose without affecting your living expenses, financial obligations, emergency savings, or long-term financial security.

Past performance does not guarantee or indicate future results. Market conditions change. A strategy, process, or trading approach that has performed well previously may perform differently in the future.

Phases 1–4 of every 18th Street Trading plan operate in a simulated trading environment using notional capital. Account balances shown during these phases do not represent cash deposited on behalf of the trader, a brokerage account owned by the trader, or funds available for withdrawal. Only the fixed payout for each completed phase is payable.

The Live account is not simulated. Its trades are priced and executed directly on the exchange, and real-market conditions apply, including slippage, partial fills, gaps, and varying liquidity. Losses on the Live account are real losses of the account's capital, up to its fixed maximum loss.

Simulated trading has inherent limitations. It does not fully reproduce the financial, psychological, liquidity, execution, slippage, latency, or other conditions associated with trading actual capital in live markets. Results achieved in Phases 1–4 may differ materially from results under live market conditions, including on the Live account.

Plan fees are paid for the opportunity to demonstrate trading ability under the firm's published standards. Payment of a fee does not guarantee completion of any phase, a payout, a Live account, or profitability.

Once an account reaches the Live stage, applicable platform and market data fees are deducted from the account balance monthly. These costs reduce the account balance whether or not the account is profitable.

Every 18th Street account is governed by published rules, risk parameters, fees, payout requirements, platform requirements, and terms. These standards are made available before participation begins. Read them. Understand them. Trade within them.
